This project for the Syracuse VAMC required us to provide a non-penetrating fall protection railing system, and gates for 21 roofs. We used a product from Dakota Safety which uses galvanized railings and 108lb bases. The combined weight of the rail system and the geometry creates a OSHA compliant guardrail system for roof edge protection.

We have been performing work at this packaging manufacturer for over twenty years. From patching to complete tear-offs on roofs as large as 98,000 square feet, we've maintained the roofs at the facility year round. This facility is a food-grade manufacturing plant that requires a high level of cleanliness to be maintained at all times. During roof replacements, we must prevent any dust or construction debris from contaminating both the manufacturing process and the finished products.
